Meet the Farmers

Logan and Natalie moved to Missouri from Utah in 2022. Natalie worked for the world’s largest commercial pig producer in the feed mills and began to see the many short comings of corporate agriculture. They began to look for an “out” of the rat race and path that they can both be “free”. Shortly after the purchased a butcher shop in Princeton Missouri with the mission to serve the local food system and stock the store front with local food. A year later, they were able to purchase a grass-finishing herd and lease land to begin high-intensity rotational grazing. They are driven by the passion of honoring God’s creation, eating local, healing the Earth, human bodies and minds, and being the “weird ones”. The have three children, a little girl “Bug” and the Twins, two fur children Millie and Winnie and plan on growing the family.

They created Meat Eating Grass Farmer in 2024 to showcase their grass-finished meat to a wider audience but to also education and show awareness to the many causes that surround the regenerative agriculture, local food system and brokennesses of our health and food systems.
